Lake Champlain Transportation Company has provided reliable, safe and friendly transportation to the surrounding lake community and to area visitors since 1826. With Lake Champlain Ferries you can count on crossing the lake throughout the year.

Currently there are three crossing locations. Check out the crossing schedules for departure times and remember, no reservations are needed.

Spare Deckhand Fill-In Position

LCT is currently looking for: A spare deckhand fill in position at the Charlotte, VT - Essex, NY ferry crossing. Deckhands for summer, weekend cruises in Burlington. Please contact Jeff at 802.864.9804 or jeffr@ferries.com for more information.

Commuter Card Minimum Increase

  Effective May 1st, 2013, there will be a $200.00 minimum purchase for Commuter Cards - new cards as well as recharges.   The administrative costs to manage and service these cards have exceeded our expectations.  Our frequent customers are important to us and we want to maintain the current rate of discount.  Taking this action will allow us to do that. In addition to Commuter Cards, there are also 20-Ride Commuter Books available if that better suits your needs.  The discount is the same on both options.
