Southern Crossing

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

With the combined effect of increased ice formation between the Grand Isle - Cumberland Head crossing and the Chimney Point - Crown Point crossing, as well as increased traffic at the Northern & Southern crossings, we will be closing the Charlotte - Essex crossing until ice conditions permit in the spring.

The last day of service at the Charlotte - Essex crossing is Wednesday 2/3/10.
